School Camp at Tōtara Springs

School camp is one of the most memorable parts of growing up. Getting out of school to experience challenges they never face in daily life will grow your kids' confidence, teamwork, and relationships in ways that aren't possible inside the classroom. Tōtara Springs is the perfect place to hold your next school camp. Our experienced staff will help facilitate a camp that your students will remember for years to come.

Tōtara Springs is a large venue that can cater to multiple groups simultaneously. Therefore, it is unlikely that you will be the only school on-site during your stay. We will, however, work to ensure that your visit is fun, challenging, and enjoyable.

Primary SchoolsSchool years 1 - 6 are a crucial time in the development of a child's self confidence, social interactions and physical abilities. At camp we can help facilitate a programme that will have your kids achieving in more than just the activities they participate in.

Intermediate SchoolsSchool Camp during years 7-8 can have a huge impact on a child's life and be a great shared experience to grow your school's culture. Life-long relationships are formed while away on camp, through situations where they must work as a team.

HIGH SCHOOLCamp for high schoolers is an amazing shared experience that will develop your school's culture and grow the friendships between students, forming lifelong relationships.

The Bookings Process

Make a Booking Enquiry!
Once you decide Tōtara Springs is the right place to hold your next school camp let us know with an enquiry here

MAKE A SCHOOL CAMP BOOKING

Once you've made a Booking Enquiry:
Our Bookings Administrator will be in contact with you shortly to confirm dates and details.

When you book with us, we will help you organise every detail of your next camp. Our bookings team will walk you through the booking process and create a programme tailored to your school's needs.

Confirm your dates & pay deposit:
We will then send you a booking form and deposit invoice to confirm your camp.

Once confirmed:
After your booking is confirmed, our Bookings Coordinator will be in contact to talk through your stay at Tōtara Springs and what exciting activities you will be doing.

Six weeks before you come to stay we will ask you to start gathering up the information for those you are bringing to Tōtara Springs. This will include dietary needs, medical conditions and assigning rooms for everyone you are bringing. All this information needs to be finalised no later than 14 days before you arrive. This gives us plenty of time to ensure we have all the information we need to deliver your camp experience at our best.
